What an affiliate relationship can do
If Gambling Charts uses an affiliate link, we may receive a payment when a user clicks, registers or completes another qualifying action with the linked operator. The exact commercial model can vary by partner.
What it cannot do
- It cannot change GC Score.
- It cannot move a brand up or down the popularity ranking.
- It cannot turn missing evidence into a score.
- It cannot automatically make a brand eligible for a market/category universe.
- It cannot prevent us from reporting a verified limitation or material consumer fact.
The ranking logic is intentionally upstream of monetisation. Commercial availability is not a scoring signal.
How commercial content will be identified
Where a link or piece of content is advertising or affiliate marketing and that commercial intent is not already obvious from context, it should be identified clearly enough for users to understand it before or at the point of engagement.
The current pre-launch site is not relying on paid prominence inside the ranking. If monetised offers, sponsored placements or preferential listings are introduced later, they must be visually and editorially separated from natural popularity order.
Why this matters
A comparison site is most useful when users can tell the difference between the independent chart and the commercial layer around it. Gambling Charts is designed to preserve that distinction even if the site later earns revenue from some operators.
