What we are trying to make easier
Gambling comparison pages often mix popularity, product quality, commercial offers and editorial preference into one opaque “best” list. Gambling Charts separates those layers.
The chart answers a measurable popularity question. Product facts and editorial context then help you decide whether a popular brand suits your needs. That distinction makes the ranking easier to understand and harder to quietly reorder for commercial reasons.
Our operating principles
Rank from evidence
Use comparable signals and show where data is weak rather than inventing a neat score for every brand.
Keep the front end simple
Methodology can be rigorous without forcing ordinary users to read an analytics report before seeing the chart.
Separate money from rank
Commercial relationships must not determine ranking position, eligibility or score.
Research each market
Regulation, brand universes, data quality and consumer needs differ. We do not mass-localise one ranking model.
Why “popularity” instead of “best”?
“Best” can imply a single answer to a highly personal question. Popularity is narrower and more testable. A popular gambling site can still be a poor fit for your preferences, and popularity does not guarantee product quality, safer play or better value.
Current market
The first market is the United Kingdom. Both core UK charts — Sports Betting and Online Casinos — are now built from current Great Britain-focused market research. References to Gambling Commission licensing relate to England, Scotland and Wales; Northern Ireland has a different gambling regulatory framework.
What comes next
Gambling Charts is in final pre-launch QA for the UK MVP. The homepage, both core rankings and the minimum methodology/trust/legal pages are in place. The remaining work is bounded whole-site QA plus the explicit launch gates; the site stays noindex until those checks and required operator/privacy details are complete.
